Texas Tech assets arresting aback De'Shon Sanders was arrested by federal agents aboriginal Thursday and answerable with ambidextrous cocaine.

According to the indictment obtained Thursday by The Dallas Morning News, Sanders did "unlawfully, knowingly and intentionally combine, conspire, confederate and agree with other persons whose names are known and unknown to the grand jury to commit" the offenses. The "50 grams and more" that were allegedly to be distributed by Sanders, according to the indictment, was "a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base."

Ausiello said Sanders was originally booked in the Lubbock County Jail but has since been transferred. Sanders was booked in the Lubbock County Jail at 5:12 a.m. and held there until about 11 a.m. Thursday, according to a jail official. Ausiello said he could not say where Sanders has been transferred.

Ausiello said Sanders is facing up to a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted and that the investigation was still ongoing.

Sanders was a roommate of Tech All-American sophomore receiver Michael Crabtree and junior defensive end Brandon Sesay. Neither Crabtree nor Sesay has been implicated in the investigation, and Ausiello said no one was arrested along with Sanders.

Sanders, 22, is a transfer from City of College of San Francisco and has appeared in all 12 games for the Red Raiders. He has four tackles.
